Episode 122

EP 122-The Ugly Side of Body Image & How We Use It To Hide From Who We Really Are

How we view ourselves, compare ourselves to others and engage in social media to contribute to those things can be so ugly, disheartening, and detrimental to our psyche, well-being, and who we really are in the world. An incident two weeks ago really upset and challenged me to do some deep thinking about body image and how we allow ourselves to hide based on external factors. I encourage everyone to listen, go deep on this with me, and share it because we absolutely need to transform this conversation and stop hiding who we really are based on an external view of ourselves. The book I mention and quote on this episode is Essentialism by Greg Mckeown. Are you looking for the next step on your health journey and want to get some one-to-one support?
